Melissa's Road Race, registration Feb 25
Registration for the 30th Annual Melissa's Road Race starts tomorrow, Feb 25, and is only available online. There is a 10k and 22k distance, both cost $45. The race is September 26, 2009, in Banff, and is capped at 1500 runners. If you don't register early tomorrow morning, online only, you will have to wait for people to start bailing out in September.

What time does the Online registration start?
I called one of the Running Room stores and they said to check at midnight. The website doesn't say. I would try at midnight, 12:30am, 6am, 8am, 9am, whenever.
Wow, by 10 a.m. both races were sold out !
I checked at 9:05 am and the 22k was sold out already. About a month before the race check the Calgary Roadrunners classified section and the Running Room online forum for people dropping out. It's hard to predict what kind of shape you'll be in 7 months from now.
